So we've discussed in class this recent two-fold problem....Please respond if you care to:
1. How do we encourage students to take responsibility for their 'day' when they're scheduled to post/blog/scribe?
2. What do we do in the event that someone unavoidably misses the class where they're scheduled to be the scribe?

In my opinion if students don't want to take responsibilty they shouldnt be granted it. Ultimately it is them that will suffer. For the students that actuallty attend class on a regular basis, the blog is used more of a reference source because we have already learned the information.
On days that "the Scribe" is not in class us as their fellow classmates can then take responsibilty and write the blog for the day so that no one else is missing the valuable information.
After missing more than one "scribe day" I think that the person should be removed from the blog and be blocked from accessing its information!
On the days that the scribe misses class forno reasn one of his fellow classmates should take over his position to write in the blog. We need someone to write in the blog every day so that the people who aren't there for a good excusable reason know what we did in class sothey dont get really far behind. Ultimately the peole who skip class for no reason don't want to learn and don't care about their future so it is only hurting themselves in the long run.
